MUSGRAVE, Jonathan -Tragically killed on 20 January 2002 at Midmar Dam. Jono was a keen sportsman and captained Treverton College's 2nd Cricket and Hockey sides, he also obtained half colours in Squash. After matriculating at Treverton he went to Midlands Discipleship College for 2 years and was about to start his studies in Architecture when he met with this tragic accident. Remembered, loved and sorely missed by his family and friends.

WHALE, Peter - has completed two Atlantic crossings on a "Cat" and then a small "Mono Hull". He has worked for a charter company in the Caribbean for 2 years. Peter is now about to sail up to Mozambique and the Archipelago region to start his own chartering business on the Yacht "Kingfisher" and will offer scuba diving, game fishing, snorkeling, surfing, kite boarding and just about any other water sport one can think of. He spent some time in Cape Town in 2003 completing the required modules in Firefighting, Marine Medic, Radio Control and Navigation before successfully completing the International Yachtmasters (RYA) Offshore Skipper up to 300 tonnes. His main roles include validation and verification of emission reductions to be traded on the compliance and voluntary carbon markets internationally as well as carbon footprints, life cycle assessments, climate change and carbon management strategies and non-financial assurance for corporate clients. He is living in Craighall and enjoying it. Says that he still gets a bit shocked when he drives into Trevie to see all the additions and how the school is growing.

LANHAM, Andrew - was a keen member of the Outdoor Pursuits Programme during his years at Treverton Preparatory School and College. He was the youngest person to complete a Grand Traverse of the Drakensberg while he was at the College.
On leaving school, he climbed Mera Peak and trekked in Nepal, then went to S America and climbed in the Andes. After that he found a job in Chamonix, France and devoted himself to learning French in order to attempt the rigorous Swiss Mountain Guide Course. After many setbacks and struggles to learn to ski well enough to qualify and to produce the required number of Alpine climbs to be accepted on the course, he managed to become an "aspirant guide." In September 2012 at 29 years of age, he finally qualified as a  Swiss Mountain Guide - as far as he knows, the only South African to obtain this qualification.
