ELLIS, Jonathan - married and living in Hertfordshire, UK. Would love to hear from anyone who may remember him as one of the choir members who appeared on the record sleeve perched on an old willow tree on the bank of the river.
JOLLY,Malcolm - Living in Welkom, heading up the mine planning and mineral resources department for the Beatrix Operation (produces around 20 000 kilograms of gold annually). Married to Doreen with son Christopher (16) and daughter Lindsay(15).

STRYDOM, Neil - Passed away recently due to heart attack. Leaves behind wife Rosa, and 6 children.

Lectured at Teachers Training College (Southern Natal) for 10 years, now is in Taiwan teaching English for the last 2 years, and hopes to move back to South Africa to start up English Language School for international students on KZN South Coast.

PEDDIE, Gareth - it is with great sadness that we report that Gareth passed away in Hungary on 9 September (he was there representing SA for the World Canoe Champs). He died of an aortic aneurism while he was a spectator at the final event. Our sincere condolences to his wife, Joni, and family.
PRETORIUS, Theo - Married to Caroline and has a daughter, Stefi, aged five. Lives in Johannesburg and is the Managing Director of VWV Productions.
ROBERTSON, John - Married to Myrtle with a nine-year old daughter, Kate. Principal of a large primary school in Pretoria.
SPARROW, Dave - Dave and Ann continue to enjoy a fulfilling ministry in Toronto, Canada. They are proud grandparents to Rebecca Faith, first granddaughter from Keith married to Beth. David serves as a Director with InterSERVE Canada, with Scripture Gift Mission, Canada; and with Asia Mission International, where he has opportunity to lead pastor's conferences in India.

COUZYN, Karl - fondly remembers his time as 1st XV Rugby captain, attending the Natal Schools rugby trials and umpiring in the Natal Cricket trials. He is married with 2 step children and 2 of his own aged from 17 - 25. He currently lives in Cape Town, Marina Da Gama and is employed as a sales rep. He is a Witness of Jehovah and has been baptized since September 2004.
KRAHENBUHL, Olivier - living on the shore of Lake Geneva in Switzerland, teaching Biology at a high school and married to Morgane.
McCONKEY - Anthony - Has been working in Moldova for a few years but pressure from the family currently in Cape Town killed that one. He has been married for the last 27 years to an ex-Napac ballet dancer Alison Hazel and has three wonderful children: a daughter Natasha (22) who completed her Journalism at Rhodes and is currently teaching English in Korea; a son Lloyd (18) currently doing a commercial diving course in the wet coast of Saldahana; and finally Dylan (9 and 3/4's) who was born in Sri Lanka and who has been at Vista Nova in Cape Town for the last 2 years. Anthony has been blessed with travel working in Sri Lanka 8 years, Portugal for 3 years, Madagascar 1 year and Moldova just over 1 year. He finally gave up working in Lesotho and will be moving to the UK with his wife and one son for at least 5 years. This will be the 8th country hewill be blessed to work in.  Hopefully they will all be there by August 2011.

PYE, Eric (Prep) - Graduated with a BA in Psychology in 1990 and moved to Japan in 1992 as an English teacher and later a teacher trainer. Now in England, recruiting and training teachers interested in going to Japan.

BUTTON, Andrew - Currently Living in Christchurch New Zealand with wife Lynne, and children Richard, Amy and David. Andrew is a tax partner in Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Richard plays representative level ice hockey and in-line hockey and Amy is a New Zealand gold medal winner in ice skating.
GAYDON, Paul - obtained a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, thanks to Dr Staples' excellent science teaching. This was followed by an MSc in Chemical Engineering in 2000. He is employed as Senior Scientist, Wastewater Treatment, at Umgeni Wtare. Eldest daughter, Sharna, is Dux at St Johns DSG for 2000 and son Shane represented SA in motorcycle road racing.
GORVEN, Desmond - Enjoying life in Johannesburg, remembers enough of what he absorbed in class and on horseback at Treverton. Reads a newspaper every morning before going to work in a very sociable and laid-back sales position. Often emails comments to newspaper. Is now a grandfather (Daughter, son, son's wife and daughter all in New Zealand). Can be found on Facebook.

RICHARDS, Shona (Std 4) - one of the first nine girls at Treverton Prep in 1978. Left after two years. Matriculated in 1985 and attended the University of Natal where she obtained a BA. Now living in Washington DC, working for the Reznick Group as Operations Administrator.
TESTA, Gianni - Tragically killed in a car accident on 11 October 2006 whilst travelling between Cape own (where he lived) and Ballito, KZN. Gianna leaves a wife and two children. (November 2006)

ROBINSON, David - lives in Montclair, Durban, married to Wendy, has a son Andrew (writing Matric in 2012). He works for Transnet National Ports Authority Dredging Services as a Bookkeeper. Dave is heavily involved in the Woodlands Full Gospel Church of God (despite a strict Baptist upbringing!) as a youth leader, musician, sound engineer and elder (considering going into full time work, but awaits His direction).

RAMSDEN, Tim - living in Canada and is married to Karin with a five year-old son, Shaun. Works for one of the largest retailers in Ontario, called Loblaws, as an Assistant Store Manager. He has recently published a book through Trafford Publishing in Canada called Border-Line Insanity. The book is a gripping account of the experiences of a platoon of white conscripted teenage soldiers in the South African army during the Apartheid era in the 1980's. Touching on big themes both personal and political, the book is written with deep feeling and manages to bring humour to the nagging insanities of those years.
