Committed StaffTreverton College and Preparatory School have been blessed with a wealth of experienced, gifted, committed Christians who teach our pupils. Read more...Many staff elect to live on the Treverton estate and so become part of the day-to-day fabric of the Treverton community. This puts them in a wonderful position to mentor and model the behaviour and values that they teach as part of a Treverton education.
DemographicsThe majority of our pupils come from KwaZulu-Natal (54%) and the balance from Gauteng (28%), outside of South Africa (7%) and from other parts of South Africa (the remainder). Two out of three pupils are boarders and the boy/girl ratio is roughly 1:1. At the Prep School (100% full), 82% of pupils are day scholars from KwaZulu-Natal and the balance are boarders from Gauteng, further afield in KwaZulu-Natal and outside of South Africa (Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana). Read more...There are three classes per Grade at the College, one class per Grade and two classes each in Grade 1, Grade 6 and Grade 7 at the Prep. Classes have a maximum of 25 pupils which enables teachers to make individualised investments.
The Treverton EstateThe Treverton estate (including the Treverton Wildlife Area) provides 270 hectares of pristine Midlands countryside as a home for the schools, and not to mention the blesbok, zebra, red hartebeest, southern reedbuck, duiker, oribi, serval, polecats, striped weasels, mongooses, genets, dassies, porcupines and scrub hares that live on the property.
